Christmas Presents for Kids in Care was founded back in 2014, blooming from a simple conversation between founder, Jane Padden and a customer who worked in child safety.

The charity has now provided over 2200 Christmas presents for children in residential care all over south-east Queensland to open on Christmas morning.
​
We are a bespoke charity who source gifts outside the generic means by packing personalised gift bags because these kids deserve more. The simple gesture of fulfilling these kids wishes is the least we can do as a community.

Christmas Presents for Kids in Care is a year round charity that works tirelessly to raise funds through charity events such as sausage sizzles, trivia nights, Guiness World Record attempts and our annual Santas on Jetskis ride.

Led by three passionate directors, our charity is about ensuring kids in residential care experience a little magic during the Christmas period, by providing children a little less fortunate with a hand-picked gift to open on Christmas morning.
